The President Hotel Cairo is well-located in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of dining options nearby, and the staff was generally friendly and helpful. However, my stay was marred by a serious lack of hot water and maintenance issues, which made my experience less than satisfactory. The room was clean, yet felt more like a self-contained apartment than a hotel accommodation, which was disappointing given the expectations for a superior room.

Rooms

My room, which was supposed to be a superior room, lacked the promised balcony and had a strange kitchenette instead. I also encountered significant issues with hot water, as it remained lukewarm throughout my stay.
Service
7.0
While the staff was friendly and eager to help, the response time to issues, like the malfunctioning hot water and maintenance problems, left something to be desired.
Location

The hotel is in a lovely, leafy area near the embassies and numerous restaurants. It felt safe to walk around, and I appreciated the vibrant local atmosphere.
Dining

Breakfast offered essential options, but I found some food items needed to be more frequently refreshed. Freshly cooked eggs were a plus, but the juice was not cold enough for my liking.
Facilities

Facilities such as the kitchenette in my room were unexpected. However, the random electricity outages during my stay, along with limitations in the lift service, were frustrating.

I had a mixed experience at The President Hotel in Cairo. On the positive side, the location in Zamalek is fantastic, and the breakfast options were impressive. However, I encountered several issues, including a lack of hot water and a confusing room setup. Overall, I found the stay not quite worth the price I paid. 🌍🍳

The service varied greatly; while one staff member was helpful, the maintenance staff seemed dismissive about my plumbing issue. Despite these setbacks, the location staff were friendly and approachable.

My stay at The President Hotel Cairo had its ups and downs. The location in Zamalek is fantastic and I appreciated the cleanliness, but I faced several issues during my visit that made it frustrating. While they offered fresh eggs for breakfast, I had lots of trouble with my room that left me disappointed. 😞

I booked a superior room expecting a balcony, but received a strange setup with a kitchenette instead. Hot water was nonexistent during my entire stay, which was unacceptable. Plus, I encountered foul-smelling water coming from the sink. Overall, the room did not meet my expectations.
Service

The staff were polite and the reception was generally helpful, but my requests regarding the maintenance issues were not properly addressed. For instance, the maintenance person seemed not to understand my situation with the water leak.
Location

The hotel is situated in a great area of Zamalek, which is perfect for exploring Cairo. It felt peaceful yet was close to various amenities and attractions, giving a nice balance during my stay.
Dining

Breakfast was a highlight with a wide selection of fresh options to choose from, but the overall dining experience at the hotel felt overpriced and lacked variety in terms of fresh fruit and desserts.
Facilities

While the hotel offers basic facilities like room service and housekeeping, there were issues like unannounced electricity cuts that affected my stay, especially since I often had no hot water when I needed it.

I had a mixed experience at The President Hotel Cairo. The location was excellent, very close to cool restaurants and cafes, which I loved. However, my room fell short of expectations as it didn't have the promised balcony, and I faced issues like a lack of hot water and an unexpected maintenance problem. The Cairo Cellar bar had a great vibe, but my experience there wasn't as smooth as I hoped.

My stay at The President Hotel was generally pleasant, thanks to the clean and comfortable accommodations and the attentive staff. However, the noise from the restaurant above my room was a bit disruptive at times. The location on Zamalek Island was perfect for exploring, making it easy to walk around the neighborhood safely.
